Environmental assessment

Mindful of the global challenges behind the notion of sustainable development, and fully aware of the economic reality that weighs on today’s hospitality professionals, we have sought to develop a service offer that reconciles both aspects (environmental and economic). An environmental assessment allows you to measure your property’s environmental impact, identify the associated costs and implement an effective action plan that both reduces your environmental impact and optimises the associated costs in your profit and loss statement.

Hotel management and marketing assistance

We offer various types of assistance:

  • Commercial and operational audits for a hotel under operation or targeted for acquisition
  • Commercial and marketing assistance, post-acquisition and under the form of a contract.
  • Operational and commercial management for a third party.

Change management / HR strategy

We can outline the overall strategic orientation in terms of change management and human resource management, and recommend the best methods and tools for meeting the identified challenges (e.g. training schemes and skills acquisition).

Audit

An audit is an occasion for strategic reflection on how an organisation operates. The goal is to asses operational efficiency, pinpoint blockages and place the organisation on the path towards improvement. An audit entails verifying the appropriateness of the organisation’s operation (procedural audit, management audit, organisational audit, procurement cycle analysis, information diffusion analysis, etc.), identifying malfunctions and defining ways to correct them (implementing score cards, nominating representatives, training, drafting technical guidelines, adapting procedures, etc.).

Public Service Delegation assistance

When providing advice on how to set up a project or reposition a facility, our operational recommendations often include contractual operating support solutions and Public Service Delegation: instigating a public service delegation contract requires a specific regulatory framework. Our experts are highly experienced in this field and can assist with implementing the procedure itself, negotiating and selecting the best operator.

Operator / investor selection

Selecting the right operators and investors is crucial to the success of your project:

  • Operators because they determine how it is managed
  • Investors because they condition whether it comes to fruition

Yet finding the right operator and / or investor is a far from simple affair, and the support of an intermediary who is familiar with the development strategies of the major groups and the requirements of financial institutions can be a huge asset.

Project management

We provide assistance to project managers both in terms of technical aspects and in how to select the best contracting team. During the design and works phase, our teams provide expert help to ensure complete cohesion between the programme and the final project.

Infrastructure programming

Programming is an iterative process used to translate the idea into a precise, usable document, enabling the future infrastructure to be designed.

Based on the options retained in pre-operational studies (concept definition, feasibility, pre-programme), the programme expresses the contractor’s tasks. The programming consultant will briefly outline the implications in terms of space, staff and material. The programme is an accurate and exacting technical document that focuses primarily on how the future infrastructure will be used: both in terms of the general public and the individuals who will operate it.

Economic, legal and organisational feasibility studies

Economic feasability : preparation of operating forecasts (profit and loss statement), financial forecasts (surplus and cash flows) and profitability estimations. The financial assumptions and forecasts are based on the conclusions of the market study previously prepared by our consultants.

Legal and organisational feasibility, management approach : definition of the most suitable organisational and legal set-up in accordance with public sector involvement in operations and structure (if applicable), financing modes and requirements (investment and operation), status of personnel and the regime of the assets under operation, etc.

Conceptual design studies

The conceptual design study is the next necessary step once a project has been validated. We assist project managers in defining the overall concept: cocnept and positioning, functions linked to the offer and peripheral activities, commercial positioning of the site: audiences / clients, targets, price positionning, insertion in the environment, etc.
